Product Overview
YC Heavy Duty Rubber Sheathed Flexible Cable is a general-purpose portable power cable rated at 450/750V for use with mobile electrical equipment operating in demanding outdoor and industrial environments. Manufactured to GB/T 5013.4 — the Chinese equivalent of IEC 60245-4 / HAR H07RN-F — it combines a Class 5 fine-stranded copper conductor with natural rubber insulation per core and a heavy-duty neoprene (or equivalent synthetic elastomer) outer sheath, producing a cable that remains highly flexible from −25 °C and withstands the mechanical abuse of construction sites, quarries, and agricultural machinery.
The "heavy duty" designation reflects the YC's thick outer sheath — the heaviest in the GB/T 5013 rubber cable family. This extra thickness gives superior abrasion resistance, impact resistance, and crush resistance compared to the lighter YZ (medium duty, 300/500V) variant, making YC the correct choice wherever the cable is regularly dragged across rough ground, run over by wheeled equipment, or exposed to sharp edges and rough concrete. Available in 1 to 5 cores and conductor sizes from 1.5 mm² to 150 mm², with standard black sheath (orange / yellow available on request for high-visibility safety applications).
450/750V Heavy-Duty Rated
Higher voltage rating than YZ (300/500V) — suitable for direct connection to 380V three-phase construction site distribution boards, generators, and industrial portable equipment.
Thick Neoprene Outer Sheath
Heavy-duty neoprene (polychloroprene) sheath provides superior abrasion, oil, UV, and ozone resistance. Withstands being dragged across rough concrete, gravel, and steel gratings without sheath cracking or conductor exposure.
Class 5 Fine-Stranded Copper
Highly flexible Class 5 stranding (e.g. 350 individual wires for 25 mm²) maintains excellent flexibility at −25 °C and resists conductor fatigue under thousands of bending and coiling cycles.
Natural Rubber Insulation
Natural rubber (or EPR) insulation per core delivers excellent dielectric strength, flexibility across the full temperature range, and superior resistance to moisture compared to PVC insulated flexible cables.
Impact & Crush Resistant
Thick rubber sheath combined with the resilient insulation absorbs mechanical shock from tools, equipment wheels, and falling objects — protecting conductor integrity in the toughest site environments.
IEC 60245 / H07RN-F Equivalent
Functionally equivalent to HAR H07RN-F and IEC 60245 Type 66 — the international heavy-duty rubber cable standard. Accepted by global contractors and project specifications requiring IEC-compliant portable power cable.

Drag-Resistant Neoprene Sheath
Neoprene (polychloroprene) has inherently higher abrasion resistance than PVC. The YC sheath withstands being dragged across asphalt, concrete, gravel, and steel plate without surface cracking — maintaining electrical safety on busy construction sites.
Cold-Weather Flexibility to −25 °C
Natural rubber and neoprene remain pliable well below freezing — YC can be coiled, deployed, and pulled in arctic winters without stiffening or cracking. PVC flexible cables become rigid and shatter-prone below 0 °C.
Flame Retardant
Neoprene sheath passes GB/T 18380 single-wire vertical burn test. Self-extinguishing — the sheath does not continue burning after the ignition source is removed, limiting fire propagation in enclosed construction spaces.
Oil & Chemical Resistance
Neoprene sheath resists petroleum-based oils, hydraulic fluids, and mild solvents — important for generator connections and construction machinery where cable contact with oil and diesel is unavoidable.
High Cycle Fatigue Life
Class 5 fine stranding and rubber insulation combine to give outstanding flex-cycle life. YC cable tolerates thousands of coiling, uncoiling, and bending cycles across reel drums and cable management systems without conductor strand breakage.
Multi-Core Options (1–5 Core)
1-core for single-conductor extensions and earthing; 3-core for three-phase without earth; 4-core for three-phase with earth; 5-core for three-phase + neutral + earth — covering every portable equipment connection scenario.
