AVVG Cable is a 0.66/1 kV unarmored power cable with aluminum conductor, PVC insulation, and PVC sheath. Naming per GOST (Russian/CIS standard): A = aluminum conductor, V = PVC insulation, V = PVC sheath, G = without protective coating (naked, unarmored). AVVG is the most widely specified aluminum power cable in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and CIS markets — where aluminum conductors dominate due to the region's vast aluminum production capacity and the material's significant cost advantage over copper. The "ng" variant adds fire-retardant properties, and "ngd" offers fire-retardant + low smoke/gas emission for enhanced fire safety.
