Naming: A = aluminium, Y = PVC insulation, K = cable, Y = PVC sheath; the "1-" prefix designates the standard grade according to Polish designation rules. AYKY is the aluminum-conductor variant of the widely used YKY (copper) cable family, and the Polish counterpart to Russia's AVVG and Germany's NAYY — all share the same Al/PVC/PVC construction under different national standards.
