Naming: A = aluminium, C = ?, Y = PVC insulation, Ab = steel tape armour (aluminium band in notation despite steel material), Y = PVC sheath. ACYAbY is the aluminum-conductor variant of the copper CYAbY and functionally equivalent to AYKYbY — all share Al/PVC/STA/PVC construction. The "F" variant (ACYAbY-F) designates the flat cable configuration.
