Product Overview
Quadruplex URD Cable is a 600V secondary underground residential distribution cable with three aluminium phase conductors and one aluminium neutral, all XLPE insulated and cabled together. Manufactured to ICEA S-105-692 and UL 854 as UL Listed USE-2, RUS accepted for utility-grade installations. Conductors are Class B compressed concentric lay stranded 1350-H19 or AA-8000 aluminium alloy per ASTM B231 / B800 / B801. Phase conductors are black XLPE; the neutral is identified by yellow striping or a full yellow jacket per US utility convention. Rated 90°C in dry, wet, and direct burial conditions, with chemical, heat, ozone, oil, and abrasion resistance. Quadruplex URD is the standard cable from pad-mount transformer to residential service entrance in North American secondary distribution networks.
