CCS Copper Clad Steel Conductor

CCS copper clad steel conductor is a bimetallic composite wire produced by metallurgically cladding electrolytic copper on low-carbon steel core under ASTM B452 standard. It combines the conductivity of copper and high tensile strength of steel, delivering obvious cost advantages over pure copper wire. The integrated bonding structure prevents delamination during bending and terminal crimping.

Copper conductivity rate (10%/15%/20%) is optional with passivation anti-corrosion treatment, verified by SGS and ISO quality audits. Typical uses include power system grounding wires, lightning protection earthing grids, CATV inner conductors and communication RF cables. Our factory supplies bare and tinned stranded CCS conductors with flexible size customization. All reels are well packed for sea transport, ensuring no copper peeling during downstream processing for cable plants and lightning engineering contractors.
