ACYAbY / ACYAbY-F Cable is a 0.6/1kV aluminum-conductor PVC-insulated steel tape armoured PVC-sheathed power cable. Designated per Romanian standard SR HD 603 S1/4C. Naming: A = aluminium, C = ?, Y = PVC insulation, Ab = steel tape armour (aluminium band in notation despite steel material), Y = PVC sheath. ACYAbY is the aluminum-conductor variant of the copper CYAbY and functionally equivalent to AYKYbY — all share Al/PVC/STA/PVC construction. The "F" variant (ACYAbY-F) designates the flat cable configuration.
