Product Overview

Conductor Twin 16mm² AAC PVC Parallel Aluminum Cable is a 0.6/1kV aerial bundled service drop cable with two parallel aluminium conductors, PVC insulated and weather-resistant. Designed to supply power from a pole-mounted transformer to the user's service head where connection to the service entrance is made. Rated for use at 600V or less phase-to-phase and at conductor temperatures not exceeding 75°C. Each core is identified by ribs on the insulation surface for easy phase identification during installation. Manufactured to BS 6485 and IEC 61089/61059 standards, this cable is the standard LV service drop solution for overhead distribution networks in residential, commercial, and rural electrification projects.

Hard drawn aluminium, stranded circular (RM). 7 strands × 1.70mm, cross-section 16mm². Conductor diameter 5.1mm per core.

Weather-resistant black PVC. Average thickness ≥1.0mm, minimum 0.8mm at any point. 70°C max conductor temperature, 160°C short-circuit.
