NFC 33-209 Aerial Bundle Conductor ABC Cable 3×25+54.6+2×16mm² is a 0.6/1kV twisted overhead bundle cable manufactured to the French national standard NFC 33-209. It combines three 25mm² compacted hard drawn aluminium phase conductors, one 54.6mm² aluminium alloy neutral messenger (7/3.15mm, 1660 daN breaking strength), and two 16mm² compacted aluminium public lighting conductors — all XLPE insulated and twisted into a single preassembled bundle. The neutral messenger serves as both the neutral current return path and the self-supporting catenary wire, eliminating the need for a separate steel messenger. XLPE insulation with high carbon black content provides rated 90°C operation with UV resistance for decades of direct overhead exposure.
