Product Overview
X1AV Cable is a 0.6/1kV single-core power cable with XLPE insulation and double aluminium tape armor. Naming: X = XLPE insulation, 1 = single-core, A = aluminium tape armor, V = PVC sheath. The aluminium tape is mandatory for single-core AC applications because a steel tape would generate eddy currents that cause dangerous overheating of the armor. This cable is functionally equivalent to RVFAV-K (UNE 21123 standard) and represents the IEC 60502-1 standardized single-core aluminium-tape armored cable for global markets that do not require a specific national certification standard.

XLPE Insulation
Cross-linked polyethylene per IEC 60502-1. 90°C continuous, 250°C short-circuit (max 5s).
PVC Bedding
Black extruded PVC separation sheath between insulation and armour. Ensures smooth surface for tape application.
Aluminium Tape Armour
Double aluminium tape, helically applied. Non-magnetic for single-core safety. 0.2mm tape thickness standard.
PVC Outer Sheath
Flexible PVC, black. Low halogen (Cl<15%), flame-retardant IEC 60332-1. CPR Eca per EN 50575.
