PVC Flat Flexible Cable / Twin Flat Flexible Cable (RVVB)
PVC Flat Flexible Cable (RVVB), also identified in international markets as H03VVH2-F or H05VVH2-F depending on the voltage grade, is a two-core parallel flexible cable for household appliances, lighting equipment, power cords, and light-duty electrical connections. It uses fine-stranded copper conductors with PVC insulation and a PVC outer sheath formed as a flat twin profile.
The two cores are laid in parallel and joined by an integral PVC connecting web. This web is co-extruded with the surrounding PVC sheath; it is not an external binding tape, braid, filler, or separate round outer jacket. The flat profile makes the cable easy to route behind appliances, under light-duty trunking, and through narrow spaces while keeping the two conductors together during installation.
The product can be supplied in two common voltage grades. H03VVH2-F is the light-duty 300/300 V version, typically used in smaller cross-sections. H05VVH2-F is the ordinary-duty 300/500 V version for higher rated voltage applications. Both versions use Cu/PVC/PVC construction and a Class 5 flexible copper conductor. The exact conductor strand count, PVC compound, color, dimensional tolerance, and certification marking should be confirmed against the production specification for the ordered size.

Red Core — Flexible stranded copper conductor with red PVC insulation
Blue Core — Flexible stranded copper conductor with blue PVC insulation
Integral PVC Web — Co-extruded connection between the two cores
Flat PVC Sheath — Outer PVC layer forms the flat twin profile and protects both cores

Key Features
Flat Twin Profile
Parallel cores form a low-profile cable that is easier to route in narrow spaces than a round multi-core cable.
Integral PVC Connection
The cores are joined by a continuous PVC web formed during extrusion, without external wrapping or a separate outer jacket.
Class 5 Flexible Copper
Fine-stranded copper provides the flexibility required for appliance leads and light-duty movable connections.
Two-Voltage Options
H03VVH2-F 300/300 V and H05VVH2-F 300/500 V versions cover different light-duty and ordinary-duty requirements.
PVC Double Protection
PVC insulation separates the conductors electrically, while the PVC sheath protects the twin assembly from ordinary handling.
Custom Color and Length
Core colors, outer sheath color, cut length, packing, and marking can be arranged according to the purchasing specification.
Construction Details
RVVB is a flat twin cable rather than a round RVV cable. Each core has its own flexible copper conductor and PVC insulation. The two insulated cores remain parallel and are joined along their length by the same PVC sheath material, forming an integral web between the cores.
Stranded Copper Core
Flexible plain copper strands are assembled as a Class 5 conductor. The exact number and diameter of individual strands may vary by cross-section and manufacturer design.
Individual PVC Insulation
Each conductor is separately insulated before the two cores are formed into the flat twin profile.
Co-Extruded PVC Web
The central connecting web is part of the PVC sheath extrusion. It is not a tape, braid, loose filler, or external tie.
Flat Outer Profile
The width and height are specified as W × H because the product has a flat profile rather than a circular outside diameter.
