Product Overview

THWN THWN-2 Wire 600V is the wet-location rated single-core copper building wire manufactured to ASTM B-3/B-8, UL-83, NEMA WC-5. The dual designation marks the temperature rating: THWN is rated 75°C in wet locations; THWN-2 (the superseding designation) is rated 90°C in both wet and dry locations — the full-performance wet-location rating that eliminates the ampacity penalty of standard THWN. Available in 28 sizes from AWG 20 solid to 700 MCM stranded, the PVC+Nylon construction provides gasoline, oil, acid, and abrasion resistance with a minimum installation temperature of 0°C for low-temperature pulling.
