Product Overview
U-1000 ARVFV Cable is a 0.6/1kV XLPE-insulated steel tape armoured PVC-sheathed power cable with aluminium conductor, manufactured to the French national standard NF C 32-322. Naming: U-1000 = 1000V (French designation for 0.6/1kV), A = aluminium conductor, R = rigid, V = XLPE insulation, FV = tape armour (steel or aluminium). It is the aluminium-conductor counterpart of the copper U-1000 RVFV and the French NFC equivalent of LXAV (IEC 60502-1) — sharing identical Al/XLPE/STA/PVC construction, differing only in the certifying standard. ARVFV is specified for photovoltaic applications, direct burial, cable trays, and conduit installations where cost-driven aluminium conductor and NFC certification are required.

Outer Sheath — Black flexible PVC
Steel Tape Armour — Double galvanized, helically applied
PVC Bedding — Black extruded separation sheath
XLPE Insulation — 90°C, NF C 32-322 colour coded
Aluminium Conductor — Class 2 stranded per IEC 60228
Aluminium Conductor
Class 2 stranded per IEC 60228. 61% IACS at ~50% weight vs copper. Solid for ≤4mm², stranded for ≥6mm².
XLPE Insulation
90°C continuous, 250°C short-circuit. NF C 32-322 colour coded: Brown/Black/Grey/Blue + Green/Yellow.
PVC Bedding
Black extruded separation sheath between cores and armour. Protects XLPE from steel tape abrasion.
Tape Armour
Double steel tape (multi-core) or aluminium tape (single-core mandatory per NF C 32-322 for eddy current safety).
PVC Outer Sheath
Flexible PVC, black. Reduced halogen (Cl<15%), CPR Eca per EN 50575. UV resistant per UNE 211605.
Photovoltaic Rated
Specified for solar farm LV collection. Direct burial, cable tray, and conduit installations per NF C 32-322.
