The double-layer conductor insulation — an inner 105°C PVC layer bonded with an outer Nylon (polyamide) jacket — is the same THHN/THWN technology used in North American building wire, providing the triple advantage of high-temperature operation (105°C, 35°C above standard PVC), mechanical abrasion resistance from the Nylon jacket, and chemical/oil resistance for industrial environments. The outer black PVC sheath provides overall mechanical protection, moisture resistance, and flame retardancy per UL-62.
